The Pretty Floral Dress

Well, interesting and all as the last post was, it did not in fact contain what was promised, to wit: a picture of the day's outfit.

(The corset-wearer in the picture is not me.)

So without further ado, I give you: the little floral dress.
Good grief, the mucking about to get that picture!  Who knew it took this much faffing to get a decent selfie?! At least an hour of different camera positions, balancing the damn iPad in precarious and unlikely spots, rushing back while the damn timer whistles merrily... Not to mention, my face seems to have inadvertently launched "gurn mode".  I didn't ask for that feature!  Can I uninstall?! Ah well...

The Little Floral Dress.  From Dorothy Perkins, via the Sue Ryder charity shop, at a cost of approximately £6.  Bought as a summer dress, this is its first cold-weather outing, teamed with a plain black top (New Look, £7) and leggings (M & S, donated by a lovely friend, so £0!).

Total cost of outfit (not including boots, of which more later) £13.  I feel the dress would work better with a cardigan over the top, rather than the long-sleeved top underneath... do you agree? How about a belt?  Any other thoughts?  Comments below... Over to you.
